Eating Disorders Parent Toolkit

NEDA Toolkits are free resources designed to educate on eating disorders. The NEDA Parent Toolkit is for anyone who wants to understand more about how to support a family member or friend affected by an eating disorder. You will find answers to your questions about signs, symptoms and medical consequences; information about treatment and levels of care; and questions to ask when choosing a treatment provider. Additionally, NEDA offers an Educator Toolkit for those who work with students, and a Coach & Athletic Trainer Toolkit for those who would like to learn how to support athletes who may be affected by eating disorders. Although some chapters are US specific (e.g. the law and Insurance issues), the majority provide a highly practical toolkit for parents.
