Homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying assembly
This short assembly from Barnardo’s raises awareness regarding prejudice against LGBTQ+ people.

This assembly explains that bullying can happen to any age group, young and old. It also shares terms and words that can be offensive to LGBTQ+ individuals that some people may use on purpose, or that they might not understand are offensive.
Using this resource
This resource is designed for:
- young people aged 11 to 13
- use with whole classes or year groups
This assembly serves as a brief introduction to issues around LGBTQ+ bullying, and would be best used as part of scheme of work on LGBTQ+ issues.
