Take 20 initiative
Talking to your child about how they’re feeling can be hard. By taking 20 minutes with them to do an activity you’ll both enjoy, you’ll create a relaxed space to start that conversation.
The YoungMinds #Take20 Parents’ Hub will provide you with lots of fun activity ideas, conversation starters and handy tips, advice and resources to make talking easier.
This resource will help:
- Parents who are worried about their child’s mental health or behaviour.
- Parents who are finding it hard to speak to their child.
- Parents looking to take time away from work, schedules, phones etc. to do a bonding activity with their child that they often don’t make time for, like baking or playing football in the park.
