Mental health and wellbeing calendar: summer term 2025

A calendar of curriculum themes and occasions linked to mental health for the 2025 summer term, with activity ideas and suggestions for each theme.

This resource belongs to the resource hub for classroom and wellbeing support.

Planning for the summer term can offer valuable opportunities to focus on mental health and wellbeing.

To support this, we’ve developed a calendar that brings together key awareness days and curriculum themes relevant to the term, such as:

  • Stress Awareness Month
  • Build-up to exams and assessments
  • Mental Health Awareness Week
  • Pride Month
  • Preparing for school, college, or university
  • World Wellbeing Week
  • End of term and transitions

For each date, we’ve included key themes, suggested activities and links to free resources to help education staff support students and colleagues.

We produce a calendar for each term of the school year. To find out when the next one is produced, sign up to our newsletter.
