Reach out: anti-bullying primary activities

A series of classroom activities for primary-aged children, focusing on how to reach out to one another to end bullying.

A resource pack featuring a number of different anti-bullying activities for primary-aged children.

The activities in this pack  have been designed to help schools celebrate and take part in AntiBullying Week 2022.

They are all based around the 2022 theme of ‘reach out’, exploring how we can reach out to others to tackle bullying.

Each activity in the pack is accompanied by teacher notes, with information on how to deliver them in the classroom.

Using this resource

This resource is designed for:

  • use with children aged 7 to 11
  • use with whole classes or groups

Caring friendships

Pupils should know:

•  that healthy friendships are positive and welcoming towards others, and do not make others feel lonely or excluded

Respectful relationships

Pupils should know:

• about different types of bullying (including cyberbullying), the impact of bullying, responsibilities of bystanders (primarily reporting bullying to an adult) and how to get help

Pupils should be enabled to explore:
